The Support Group are liaising with Professor Chris Oliver and his team from the School of Psychology at Birmingham University, on an RTS behavioural research project. Originally, during summer 2006, all members of the Support Group were sent a set of questionnaires about RTS behaviour, of which about 50% were returned. This was a higher-than-average response rate, and everyone who participated received individual feedback. Our thanks go to all those who returned the surveys.
Following initial analysis, Prof Oliver reported back on the project's findings at the Family Weekend in May 2007, during which his team also took the opportunity to conduct further interviews with a number of individuals. As the project has progressed, Prof Oliver and his team have continued to keep us updated, attending all our get-togethers since that time.
