We’re very pleased to be able to advise all our members that a dedicated clinic for children and adults with RTS has been founded at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Run by Dr Adam Shaw, it aims in the longer term to provide specialist care and advice for people with RTS and their families, and to further knowledge of RTS through research. However, in the beginning, it will be information-gathering, as until now, there has not been a central point for data on conditions and symptoms experienced by people with RTS. Appointments, typically annual for children and three-yearly for adults, will provide the opportunity for a regular check-up and review, to perform any specialist investigations that aren’t available locally, and to answer any unusual questions. It is also collaborating with Professor Chris Oliver from the University of Birmingham, whose team are currently studying memory and behaviour in RTS (more details of the project here). If you’d like to come to the clinic, or find out more about it, please contact Dr Adam Shaw at:

If you've already attended the clinic, we'd be interested in any feedback (good or bad) from any of our members who've used the facility. Please email us at mail@rtsuk.org.
