Saturday 5th December saw a fantastic attendance at our 2009 Christmas event held at Wicksteed Park in Northamptonshire. Around 150 people chose to join us for a day offering fun, as well as more practical opportunities to meet professionals and other families. After everyone had had a chance to have a cuppa and a chat, the busy schedule kicked off with a visit from Wicky Bear, followed by a trip to the Big Top for the amazing circus performance. Then straight off to lunch, followed by a return to the function room for the panto, karaoke, raffle draws, ride on the carousel (outside of course) and...FATHER CHRISTMAS (who arrived on his sleigh!) Throughout the day, "clinics" were held by Professors Hennekam and Oliver, and their associates, for families requiring medical and/or behavioural consultations. The Group is so lucky to have the support of such committed professionals.
We've had lots of positive feedback, so it seems everyone had a great time. Roll on the next event !
